LatinX Creative Community

Our roots, our rhythms, and our joy unify us. Perhaps the smell of coffee or dancing salsa might link us together, or even our vibrant colours… but one thing is for sure, we all look different. We Latin Americans come in all shapes and sizes; therefore, we identify and connect through feelings, history, and a sense of community: Familia.
The Latin American community has been working its way through to make its voice be heard in the British arts industry for years now. Many have come before and have paved the way. However, many are still working to celebrate who we are and what we have to share and to contribute with.
In this section, you’ll find links to UK theatre companies, organisations, groups, etc. that have a strong Latinx voice through their artistic team members and/or their artistic programming.
If you are Familia, get in touch and we’ll add your company’s link and work to our page.

Hosted events

We’ve organised a number of live Q&As and events to open up a conversation about improving opportunities for Latin American actors within the European market and creating work within our community.
